The Tennessee State Lady Tigers basketball team represents Tennessee State University (TSU) in women's basketball in Nashville, Tennessee. The school's team currently competes in the Ohio Valley Conference. They play their home games at the Gentry Complex.

History

Tennessee State began play in 1977. The Lady Tigers joined the OVC in 1987. They have an all-time record (as of the end of the 2015–16 season) of 356–566.

The Tennessee State University women's basketball team, known as the Tennessee State Tigers (W), is a competitive and talented program representing Tennessee State University in collegiate athletics. Competing at the NCAA Division I level, the team is part of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). Known for their strong work ethic, skilled gameplay, and team-oriented approach, the Tennessee State women's basketball team strives for excellence both on and off the court. They are dedicated to developing student-athletes who excel academically and athletically, aiming to make a significant impact in conference play and beyond.
